Peach awoke this morning with quite a high temp and was not her usual self. I worked hard babying her. I set up the sofa, put on a movie and popped her some popcorn.
She worked very hard feeling sorry for herself 
(clearly she is MY daughter!)

Our dinosaur bean bag (which I had very much been hoping to include in this project, it was fun!) met an unfortunate and untimely end this evening. I was under strict instructions to keep the children out of the balls knowing that those little beans aren’t safe for kiddos. It’s just? How can you NOT jump into a pile of these?

I don’t really have words for this photograph…
I asked Theo to get his shoes on to go to Scarlet & Willow’s house and this is how he came to me. With KNIVES tucked into his shoes.
The other day when I asked him what he wanted to do with the butter knife he had just taken from the drawer he shrugged his shoulders and said nonchalantly “man stuff” (Yes. Seriously)
When will I learn not to be utterly dumbfounded by these children every day?
