We bought Errol dreamy donuts for his birthday breakfast (they’re his favourite… we’re not trying to kill him!). It was so sad and adorable watching Theo think that he was going to get some too. Every bite Errol took Theo’s eyes would follow and he did his best effort to try and grab himself a sneaky handful. Thankfully we’re took quick for the little nommer and his first food was NOT pure sugar.

Today was Errol’s birthday and I planned a special night away for him. The hotel only allowed one child per room (unless I wanted to book two rooms which I did not!) and since the smaller bear child is still feeding very often, it was the Peach who would be spending her first night away from me. Oh my heart.
I want to write so much about watching her grow and change and not needing me but I get a bit teary as I type. Suffice to say I dropped our little lady at Hailey’s and she did wonderfully. Not wanting to make a big deal of it, I said “Okay P, I am going now, you’ll stay here?”. Without looking up from her playing she smiled and replied “bye!”.

Hanging out outside Chermside mall for a brief reprieve from the masses. We like this little sculpture park, Peach said proudly “dis ma house!”.
